After the drops in temperature of the past few days, stimulating the buds that have “evolved” into flowers to ensure optimal flowering and fertilization is essential in olive trees. This is why a highly mobile boron is necessary to reach the inside of the flower, through the leaf and also through the tissue of the green buds.
BRANDT Europe proposes Manni-Plex Boron, which promotes boron penetration and translocation through the phloem to the inside of the flower, where it stimulates fertilization.
We propose the following schedule to tackle cold stress and increase production:
– Closed green buds: Manni-Plex Boron at 200-300 ml/hl of water.
– After fruit set: Manni-Plex Boron at 200-300 ml/hl of water.
