When Brandt acquired the assets of the former Tragusa, it did so with the intention of serving the markets of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) through its new subsidiary. The trade war between China and the United States, however, has opened up the geographic spectrum of our business horizon, and China has passed into the orbit of our business challenges. The Asian giant will be an important expansion destination for Brandt Europe, and opening up to the Chinese market will be one of our major business goals in 2020.
