  • Renovation: 6 – 8 fl. oz. per 1000 sq ft or 2 – 2.5 gallons per acre.
  • Overseeding: 6 – 8 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq ft or 2 – 2 .5 gallons per acre, applied every 14- 28 days after germination and plants have reached the 3 tiller phase. Most effective when used as part of an overall overseeding nutritional program.

Fairways, Sports Turf and Lawns

  • Overseeding: 6 – 9 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq ft or 2 – 3 gallons per acre, applied every 14-28 days after germination and plants have reached the 3 tiller phase. Most effective when used as part of an overall overseeding nutritional program.

Foliar Application Apply a foliar spray early in the morning or late in the day for best results. Allow foliar sprays to dry thoroughly before irrigation to insure even foliar uptake.

Ornamental Plants Tree and shrub maintenance: For deep root feeding inject 1 – 4 gallons per 100 gallons of water per inch of trunk diameter at chest height. Apply 2 – 5 gallons per 100 gallons of water as a drench. Apply drench throughout the year or during drought stress conditions. Optimum rate of application will vary depending on treatment interval, soil properties (such as pH, organic matter content, texture), weather conditions, time of year, plant species and its nutrient requirements. For best results, follow soil/tissue test recommendation.

Mixing and Handling Instructions

Fill spray tank with half of required water volume and begin agitation. Add products in this order, mixing thoroughly after each addition: adjuvants, pesticides, then fertilizers. Fill tank with remainder of water and continue agitation until spray solution is completely mixed. Check chemical mixture compatibility using a jar test prior to application. In Virginia, this lawn fertilizer, which contains phosphorous, is intended only for nonagricultural use on (i) turf during its first growing season, (ii) turf areas being repaired or renovated, and (iii) turf where a soil test performed within the last 3 years indicates a phosphorous deficiency. This fertilizer is not intended for the routine maintenance of turf. Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rains are expected. Apply this product only to your lawn/garden. Check with your local Cooperative Extension Agency to obtain specific information on local turf best management practices.
